About Us
Learn More About PFLAG Lexington / Fayette County
PFLAG Lexington / Fayette County was founded in August 2025 by four friends who recognized a need for greater support and connection within the Central Kentucky LGBTQIA+ community and their loved ones. Together, we are committed to building a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone feels supported and valued.
What We Do
Provide Support – PFLAG facilitates separate monthly in-person meetings. We also provide periodic programs for special topics and events.
Offer Education – Each month, as part of our support groups, we provide a different education or conversation topic. We showcase local advocates, groups, and speakers, and encourage members to be an active part of the conversation.
Advocate – PFLAG strives to partner with other local and National organizations to educate key decision-makers about the issues that affect our loved ones and families, and to teach others how to use their voices to amplify our efforts toward a more equitable, and just world for the LGBTQ+ community.
